Zarephath Wines are produced by a monastic community to the highest level.
Using drip irrigation and a low cropping level brings a heady intense flavour and colour for these almost spiritual wines.

This Cabernet, with cassis, spicy plums and blackberry, is the 2003 vintage and is benefiting from bottle age. This will go on improving for many more years.
The Unwooded Chardonnay, made under their "Little Brother" label , is also a treat.
Zarephath is a Hebrew name, from the book of Elijah, meaning "refinement." The quality fruit is grown by members of the Christ Circle, an independent monastic community.
